How soon after surgery can I start rehabilitation?

Early intervention is critical. Most post-operative rehabilitation programmes should begin as soon as your surgeon gives the green light, often within the first week. When can postpartum mothers start postnatal recovery exercises?

New mothers can begin a structured postnatal recovery programme soon after their 6-week check-up. What is Manual Soft Tissue Therapy? How does it differ from a massage?

Soft Tissue Therapy is a clinical manual technique used to mobilise soft tissues including massage for muscles, manual therapy for joints, myofascial release for fascia, and more. While massage is generally for relaxation, STT emphasise the clinical logic behind to effectively facilitate the natural healing process or to reduce tension.

I don’t exercise often; do I still need sports therapy?

You don’t need to be an athlete to benefit from Sports Therapy. Most common chronic pains (eg. back pain from office work) are caused by inactive lifestyle and postural problems. A Sports Therapist can identify these problems and provide treatment to make your life easier and pain-free.

Can meniscus wear and tear be recovered without surgery?

Meniscal tear are mostly treated by surgery when it is traumatic or flipped. Conservative Treatment is very successful for managing chronic meniscal tear.
